Here are five in-state Christmas light displays to check out this holiday season.
Candlelight Stroll at Strawbery Banke
The Candlelight Stroll at Strawbery Banke Museum invites guests to enjoy a dazzling holiday show with hundreds of candle lanterns and string lights. Along the stroll, guests can step into any of the museum's historic houses, all of which are adorned with handmade period-specific decorations and filled with costumed role players who share seasonal traditions of the past.
Performances by professional ice skaters and concessions by a bonfire also accompany this holiday event.
Non-member tickets are $32 for adults, $16 for children ages 3-17 or free for children under 3. Member tickets start at $16 for adults or $8 for children ages 3-17, though they can be lower or even free depending on membership level.
When: Strawbery Banke Museum's holiday light stroll will be open from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Fridays-Sundays in December through Dec. 22. An accessible and sensory-friendly stroll will take place on Dec. 15 from 2-4 p.m.

On winter nights, Derry's LaBelle Winery turns into a winter wonderland with millions of twinkling lights. The illuminated walking path includes festive designs like Reindeer Family, Snowflake Forest and Candy Cane Lane.
If you go to see LaBelle Lights, be sure to check their theme calendar beforehand if you want to plan a special outfit. Each week of the light season has a unique theme, including holiday pajamas and 80s ski gear.
Worked up an appetite walking through the lights in your themed outerwear? LaBelle has three available dining options: the sit-down Americus Restaurant, Santa's Snack Shack or the Market and Tasting Room.
Tickets to this holiday light show cost $19 for adults, $12 for seniors ages 65 or older and $8 for children ages 4-12. Every Tuesday throughout the season is Twinkle Tuesday, meaning all tickets are half-off. It is recommended to buy tickets online to avoid long lines at the door.
When: The winery's lights will shine on Tuesday-Sunday from Nov. 12, 2024 through Jan. 19, 2025. LaBelle Lights will be closed on holidays, and hours are 4:30-9:30 p.m.

Santa's Christmas Light Show at Santa's Village
As New Hampshire's year-round holiday-themed amusement park, Santa's Village goes all out during their Christmas season. When dusk falls on the park, Christmas carols play in the air, a million lights illuminate the walkways and Santa's Christmas Light Show plays on Main Street.
Viewing of this light show requires admission to Santa's Village, which costs $55 for all-day, $42 for Saturday after 3:30 p.m. or $21 for Sunday after 3 p.m. Admission also includes access to all rides, shows, visits with Santa and other attractions. Tickets are date-specific and must be bought online.
When: During the holiday season, Santa's Christmas Light Show occurs three times each hour beginning at dusk. The park is open on Saturdays in November and Saturdays to Sundays in December through Dec. 22, plus Sunday Nov. 24 and Friday Nov. 29. Christmastime hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.

For those who want to experience the dazzling magic of Christmas lights from the warmth of their car, the New Hampshire Motor Speedway is back for its 14th year with a two-mile-long drive-through light display.
More than three million lights will come together in over 500 festive displays, a rainbow tunnel of lights and iconic holiday scenes turned into illuminated works of art. Exit tunnels on the path give guests the opportunity to enjoy the lights with a roasted marshmallow or s'more by an open fire pit.
Gift of Lights tickets cost $35 per car or $60 per bus or limo. Tickets can be bought online or at the gate.
When: This drive-through special is open daily from Nov. 28, 2024 through Jan. 5, 2025. Hours are 4:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday or 4:30 to 10 p.m. Friday to Saturday, though they switch to 4:30 to10 p.m. daily from Dec. 19-29.

Winter Lights at Waterville Valley
For the third year, the New England ski town of Waterville Valley will be transformed into a dazzling winter scene. Twinkling lights will illuminate the ice rink, Corcoran Pond Bridge and the path from the Town Square to the Waterville Valley Tubing Center.
There is no cost to see Waterville Valley's Winter Lights. While the entire town can be explored for free, certain businesses or attractions that participate in the lights may cost money.
When: The holiday light season will start with a ceremonial tree lighting by Santa himself on Saturday, Nov. 25. Lights will illuminate the town throughout the winter season.

LOUDON, NH — Firefighters from Concord and the capital region spent their Saturday night battling a house fire in Loudon.
Loudon firefighters were sent to 7471 Currier Road for a report of a woodshed on fire. The woodshed, Capital Region Fire Dispatch said, was attached to the home.
A second call around 7:45 p.m. brought Canterbury, Chichester, and Concord firefighters, while Pembroke EMTs were placed on standby. Dispatch said the closest fire hydrant was on Coaster Road, about a mile away.
A few minutes later, a fire commander said, “By the looks of the smoke, go ahead and start a second alarm, please.” The second alarm brought firefighters from Barnstead, Canterbury, Epsom, Pembroke, and Pittsfield.
Two minutes later, a third alarm was struck, and the fire commander requested Eversource come to the scene. Belmont, Boscawen, Northwood, Pittsfield, and Webster were then requested to send firefighters.

Around 8:30 p.m., a fire commander said they had two injured firefighters and requested another ambulance.
According to Redfin.com, the home was nearly 5,000 square feet on a 133-acre lot. It was sold in May 2023 for $385,000. Five months before that, it was sold for $435,000.
